We Are Here!

Day 1 | Mon 6th Jan

After yesterday's flight from Dubai to Geneva, and a couple of hours on the bus, everyone has checked in to the chalet and collected their skis.

We are ready to go!

Raring to Go

Day 1 | Mon 6th Jan

We have made it to the bottom of the slopes, and we are ready to get going with our first day of skiing to look forward to.

Slopes Ready. Students Ready!

Day 1 | Mon 6th Jan

The students are out with their instructors ready for five days of development and fun. With a vast array of trails for all abilities, the young people are set to be tested and encouraged to push themselves to the next level of their skiing journey.

Lessons Underway

Day 1 | Mon 6th Jan

We are out and about with some of our students today who are being looked after well by our ESF instructors here at Courchevel.

The slopes are in good condition, and with more snow forecast for this week we are excited for what's to come!

It's picture-perfect conditions here in France, with the students out in their groups for the afternoon sessions.

Afternoon Sessions Underway

After a quick lunch stop on the slopes, the students were back out and ready to go for their afternoon sessions.

Great commitment shown by everyone after a long day of travelling yesterday - they are raring to go for day two in Courchevel!

Good Morning!

Day 2 | Tues 7th Jan

It’s a beautiful morning here in Courchevel. With fresh snowfall overnight it’s set to be an excellent day out on the slopes!

At the Top!

Day 2 | Tues 6th Jan

The Uptown students headed up to the top of the mountain this morning as they continue to get to know their surroundings at Courchevel.

The Uptown staff are enjoying themselves in Courchevel this week too - here Mr Narwal, Mr Cheshire and Mrs Buergi took some time out to grab a quick snap!

Miss Gibson’s group were all smiles this morning as they continued to test themselves on the Courchevel slopes, under the watchful eye on their ESF instructor!

3Day 3 | Wed 8th Jan

After a rainy start this morning, the clouds have cleared and it’s made for some excellent skiing conditions.

Tonight, it’s ice skating time!

Day 3 | Wed 6th Jan

Away from the slopes there’s still plenty to do here in Courchevel - with some of the Uptown International School students swapping skis for skates this evening!

Snow Day

Day 4 | Thurs 9th Jan

Today was the first day of the week where the students and staff experienced some serious snowfall whilst they were on the slopes.

With conditions new to many, it was a great test for all of the Uptown skiers on the mountain today with the snow heavy and visibility challenging.

Tomorrow sees the final day of skiing for the group, and with more snow forecast it’s set to be another cracker!

Day 5 | Fri 10th Jan

The students are ready to head out for the last day of skiing in Courchevel.

The conditions are great and with more snow scheduled it’s set to be a brilliant final outing on the slopes.

Time for Home

Day 6 | Sat 11th Jan

And just like that, it’s time to head home.

With five days of skiing, lots of evening activities and memories made for a lifetime, the Uptown students are ready to start their journey back to Dubai.
