Follow BWA on their ski tour to Borovets Bulgaria!

February 11^th, 2026

DAY 1

Today was our first full day in Borovets and everyone was so excited to get started! After getting ready and making sure we were wrapped up warm, we headed up the mountain for our first two-hour ski session. Some of us were beginners learning how to stop and turn, while others were building confidence and improving their skills. The instructors were really helpful and by the end of the session, everyone had made great progress.

After a busy morning on the slopes, we stopped for lunch to warm up and refuel. The food gave us lots of energy for the afternoon ahead!

In the afternoon, we went back out onto the mountain for another ski session. It was great to practise what we had learned in the morning, and lots of us felt much more confident going down the slopes.

Once we finished skiing for the day, we headed back and had some free time to explore the souvenir shops. Everyone enjoyed picking out little gifts and keepsakes to remember the trip.

In the evening, we had dinner together and shared stories from the day. To finish off a brilliant first day, we played table tennis and air hockey, which was lots of fun and very competitive!

DAY 2

Today was another fantastic day in Borovets! We wrapped up warm and headed up the mountain for our morning ski session. Everyone is growing in confidence, with beginners improving their turns and stops, and the more advanced skiers tackling longer runs. It’s great to see how much progress is being made.

At lunchtime, most of the group came down to eat and warm up. The advanced group stayed up on the mountain and enjoyed lunch with an incredible snowy view before heading back out onto the slopes.

In the afternoon, we had another ski session where we practised the skills we’ve been working on. Many of us are starting to feel much more in control and confident going down the slopes. The instructors were really impressed with everyone’s effort and determination.

After dinner, we had an exciting nighttime activity – sledging! It was such a fun way to end the day. Racing down the slopes in the dark, surrounded by snow, made it even more exciting. There were lots of laughs and big smiles all around.

DAY 3

Day 3 in Borovets was another brilliant one! We started the morning by heading up the mountain for our ski session. Everyone is continuing to improve, with lots of confident turns, controlled stops and even some faster runs from the advanced group. It’s amazing to see how much progress has been made since Day 1.

Today, we all stayed up on the mountain for lunch. Eating together with the snowy views all around us made it extra special. It was a great chance to relax, refuel and enjoy the beautiful scenery before heading back out.

In the afternoon, we had another ski session to practise our skills. The instructors were really pleased with everyone’s effort and determination on the slopes.

In the evening, the fun continued with a trip to the arcades. There were lots of competitive games, laughter and attempts to win prizes! After that, we had a snowman-building competition. Everyone got creative, and we saw some very impressive (and very funny!) snowman designs.

DAY 4

Today was our final full day, and although we were a little sad it was coming to an end, we made the most of every moment! We headed up the mountain as usual for our ski sessions. It was great to see how confident everyone has become since the start of the trip. From learning how to balance on skis to skiing down slopes with control, the progress has been amazing.

After a busy morning, we had lunch back at the hotel where everyone could relax and warm up together. It was nice to sit down, chat and reflect on all the fun we’ve had this week.

In the evening, we had a special awards night to celebrate everyone’s achievements. There were lots of cheers and smiles as awards were handed out for effort, progress and positive attitude. Everyone should be so proud of themselves!

After the awards, we enjoyed a fun quiz night, testing our knowledge and working together in teams. It was the perfect way to end such an incredible trip.

To finish the evening, we packed our bags ready for the airport and our journey home. What an unforgettable adventure filled with skiing, laughter and amazing memories! ⛷️❄️✨
