Day 1 | Fri 3rd May
After an early start and a long day of traveling, St. Christopher's footballers have arrived in Madrid for their week long tour.
First stop was a short drive from the airport to Atletico Madrid's Civitas Metropolitano home.
St. Christopher's School boys get to grips with Atletico Madrid's 70,000 seater home on their first day in Spain, Madrid. What a way to start the trip.
After making some shopping at the Atletico de Madrid megastore the group jumped on the bus and headed to the hotel, the fantastic Spanish FA Hotel, home of all the Spanish national teams.
Day 2 | Sat 4th May
St. Christopher's School squads are in action this morning as they take on some local Madrid opposition.
Great football performances today. We've seen some amazing goals and incredible saves. Well done everyone!
The students visited Parque de El Retiro in Madrid city centre after their matches - they kindly took some time to pose for our cameras after lunch!
It's La Liga time - Real Madrid VS Cádiz, is there a better way to finish the day?
We headed to el Santiago Bernabéu, stadium of Europe's most successful team. Everything was set up for the show, the atmosphere was amazing and the students were buzzing to see some of the most iconic starts, Jude Bellingham, Vini Jr, Luka Modric, Thibaut Courtois.
The final score was 3-0 to Real Madrid after a fantastic second half show.
We didn't know it but later in the afternoon Real Madrid would be proclaimed league champions.

Day 3 | Sun 5th May
St. Christopher's School squads got their first club training session underway this morning at Atlético de Madrid’s training complex.
The students were put through their paces with members of the club’s academy staff.
What an experience for the young players who gave it everything and at the end of the session their efforts were rewarded with an Atlético's official certificate.
After an intense morning of football the St. Christopher's squads are letting their hair down with an afternoon of rollercoasters at Madrid’s Warner Bros theme park.
Day 4 | Mon 6th May
The morning started with an amazing training session at the Spanish FA, home of the 2010 World Cup Champions. The youngsters had a great time testing their skills and getting ready for what is coming in the afternoon.
This afternoon St. Christopher's footballers followed in the footsteps of some of the world's greatest players as they trained at Real Madrid's training center.
The young players were put through their paces during the session before touring the facility and learning all about the progression from the youth academy to first team.
Day 5 | Tues 6th May
This morning St. Christopher's young players took part in a training experience with the second tier’s leaders, CD Leganés.
With a pitch session and some time in the first team gym, the students got a personalised experience at the home of the La Liga hopefuls.
It was another set of worthwhile games as St. Christopher's squads took on local opposition in Madrid this evening. Great performances again from the youngsters!
Tomorrow the group will tour the shiny new Real Madrid's stadium on their last day and they will be able to see first-hand the 14 champions leagues won by the Merengues.
Day 5 | Wed 7th May
On their final morning, the students took a look behind the scenes at one of the world's most iconic football stadiums, the Santiago Bernabéu.
Freshly renovated, the home of giants Real Madrid is as impressive as ever.

And just like that, the St. Christopher's students are heading for home.
Over the course of a week in Spain’s capital, the youngsters have learned how to play like the pros, experienced life at three of the city’s football clubs, witnessed a 3-0 win for Real Madrid at the Santiago Bernabéu and developed as people and players.
It’s been a pleasure to host a fantastic group in Madrid - safe travels!
