DAY 5 - PORTSMOUTH (Group B)

Meanwhile, it was group B's turn to descend to the English south coast. After arriving at Portsmouth Historic Dockyard, the students boarded HMS Warrior - Britain's first iron-hulled warship to explore the upper and lower decks and learning about life as a crew member at sea.

Next on the agenda it was 'all aboard' as the group set off on a boat tour of the harbor. The cruise touched on the history of Portsmouth dockyards before delving through its modern state as home to the British Royal Navy. This included a close up look at some of the worlds biggest and most advanced Naval vessels.

After lunch, the students were then given some free time to visit the nearby Gunwharf Quays shopping outlet to spend their money and purchase some souvenirs before ending the day at Spoons World Buffet.
