Repton Al Barsha Arrive in the UK

Day 1 | Fri 7th June

Repton Al Barsha headed straight for Repton Prep after arriving in the UK, with lots of exciting activities ahead it's set to be an unforgettable week for this group of students.

Fixtures Time

Day 1 | Fri 7th June

After taking a look around the beautiful school grounds, the Repton Al Barsha students took on their UK counterparts in some football and netball matches.

Cricket Matches Underway

Day 2 | Sat 8th June

The students swapped their football boots and netball dresses for their cricket whites with some friendly matches on the second day of their sports tour.

A big well done to all students who took part in a valuable learning experience for both sides.

Heading for the Water

Day 3 | Sun 9th June

Sunday saw the Repton Al Barsha students head for the water as they tried their hand at some water sports this morning.

Kayaking, knee boarding, and the aqua park were the order of the day - and the students had an excellent time!

The afternoon was spent at Repton School with a swimming session led by Repton UK's Head of Swimming, Ash Morris.

Loughborough University

Day 4 | Mon 10th June

Day 4 of the tour saw Repton Al Barsha visit the world's number one sports university, the stunning Loughborough campus.

A campus tour, taking in some of the facilities being used by Olympic athletes ahead of the summer games in Paris, was followed by rugby and netball sessions with the university's coaches.

What an opportunity for the young athletes as they embark on their own sporting and educational journeys!

Archery & Laser Tag!

Day 5 | Tuesday 11th June

Day 5 began with a hearty breakfast, fuelling everyone for an action-packed morning of archery and laser tag, where both teamwork and individual skills were put to the test.

After the morning excitement, the students headed off to Queen Ethelburga's for an afternoon of challenge matches, providing an excellent opportunity for our young athletes to showcase their skills and sportsmanship!

Time for Rock Climbing!

Day 6 | Wednesday 12th June

On Day 6 of the tour, the Repton Al Barsha students enjoyed an exciting session at Freeklime Climbing Centre before heading to Bradford Grammar for some challenge matches!

Visiting the Theatre of Dreams

Day 7 | Thursday 13th June

The tour's final day started with a visit to Old Trafford for a tour and shopping at the Man United store. Afterward, the students enjoy bowling and lunch at Namco in Trafford Centre, followed by some shopping - topping off an action-packed week!
