Hey Siri, what’s the best possible way to spend a day before driving to a ski resort?
Easy — go to Disneyland!! ✅
After a long flight we sat down to a beautiful dinner and called it an early night for some very well-earned sleep.
Up and at ’em this morning, we were off to Tokyo Disney — and what a surprise awaited us. Snow gently falling, the park transformed into something straight out of a storybook. For the students, it was a whole new experience: Disneyland under snow! It was pure joy from start to finish.
The most perfect morning and afternoon before hitting the road towards the much-anticipated Hakuba adventure ❄️
After getting to know the instructors, briefing the plan, and getting our boots and skis sorted, it was time to hit the slopes!
With plenty of snowfall throughout the day, the group was in for a real treat. What a first day to test the slopes in Hakuba for everyone. There’s still more to come! ❄️⛷️
What an incredible day in the sunshine. The snow kicked off with a bang, with overnight snowfall laying down a fresh pillow of powder across the slopes. Perfect learning conditions under blue skies meant rapid progress all around — our beginner skiers were up and exploring the mountain with growing confidence. Meanwhile, the advanced skiers were flying across multiple pistes and discovering some of Hakuba’s most beautiful hidden spots.
Now it’s time to unwind back at the chalet with a few games and some well-earned rest. More to come tomorrow! ❄️☀️
Another incredible day on the slopes! Some of the instructors even said it was one of the best days they’ve had on the mountain, with the snow in perfect condition.
We’ve reached the halfway mark of the trip — usually this is when the kids start to feel a little tired, but not this group! They simply can’t stop skiing.
In the evening, after dinner, the group enjoyed an amazing performance of traditional Japanese Taiko drumming. They were fascinated by the power and precision of the performance and even had the opportunity to try playing these impressive traditional drums themselves.
This trip has truly been a full experience on the slopes. Today, we had snowfall throughout the day, which made the slope conditions more challenging for the groups. Experiencing such a variety of conditions during their stay is helping the kids develop and strengthen their skiing skills.
After dinner, we headed outside for a campfire, where we played team-building games around the fire. We then enjoyed a warm, delicious cup of hot chocolate to end the evening.
And just like that, our final day in Hakuba arrived — time truly flies! The sun made a perfect appearance, allowing the students to finish on a real high as they carved down the slopes like seasoned pros. Every group showed incredible progress throughout the week, confidently making their way right to the top of the mountain. What a fantastic way to wrap things up!
In the evening, we gathered to celebrate the skiers, recognising not only their impressive development and skill on the slopes, but also their outstanding attitude and the way they embraced Japanese culture throughout the week.
We had an early start as we began our journey to Tokyo. Along the way, we made a truly beautiful stop at the impressive Matsumoto Castle, where students were able to take in one of Japan’s most iconic and historic landmarks. This was followed by a visit to the ever-popular 7-Eleven, giving everyone the chance to pick up some much-desired snacks and ice creams.
We then continued on to Tokyo. In Japan’s vibrant capital, Tokyo, students enjoyed time exploring the famous shopping streets of Harajuku before heading to the airport.
And just like that, our journey came to an end — what an incredible and unforgettable trip it has been. Memories were made that will truly last a lifetime.
