After a very early start, the students touched down in Doha ready to hit the ground running with a technical session ahead of the evenings fixtures.
The girls U-16's had a tough game on their hands against Evolution Soccer Academy. After taking the lead, 'Evo' managed to nick one back for a share of the spoils in a 1-1 draw.
The girls blues squad, had equally as tough a game. This time the opponents were Doha College. The girls unfortunately lost 1-0 but they have to pick themselves up and go again tomorrow.
Both boys squads faced Doha College. The boys U-16s had a very close game, going into half time at 3-3. Class told in the end as they managed to finish up 6-3 victors!!
The boys blues squad weren't quite able to replicate their younger colleagues. The blues squad came away 2-2 draw and taking the positives as they look ahead to a well earned rest tonight.
The girls headed off in the early hours for a light training session this morning ahead of tonight's fixture. 6.30am departure was no issue to this lot.
The boys on the other hand were in for a slightly more active recovery session in the pool.

Having hosted Turkey, Germany and South Korea during 2022, our next stop was a stunning venue, used as a World Cup Training Ground.
Amazing test for the two boys squads this evening! U-16 came out on top to make it 2/2 this weekend. The blues squad had a real game of two half's as they were hard done by to be 3 down in the first half. Should've had 2 goals in the 2nd half but alas no joy.
The girls headed off to Hydra Academy for some tough tests of their own. The u-16 competed in a round robin against Hydra and ran out winners. The blues squad played an extremely strong Hydra Academy in a really tight game, unfortunately a 2-0 victory for the hosts.
A much needed and well earned lie in to the students this morning. Off to the brilliant 3 2 1 Olympic Sports Museums for some interactive learning and of course some fun!!
