Day 1 | Sun 23rd June
Jebel Ali School’s students had a busy travel day as they departed Dubai and headed to London for their UK Performing Arts Tour.

Day 2 | Mon 24th June
Day 2 kicked off at Danceworks with an inspiring West End Workshop, followed by an exciting Q&A session with a cast member from 'Back to the Future'.
The Jebel Ali students then enjoyed a sightseeing walk, waving to the king at Buckingham Palace and snapping a team photo at Big Ben before setting sail along the famous river Thames Cruise to view some of London's most iconic landmarks.
The evening culminated with a shopping visit to Covent Garden, dinner, and the thrilling 'Back to the Future' show at the Adelphi Theatre - what a day!
Day 3 | Tues 25th June
Day 3 of Jebel Ali's Performing Arts Tour began with a set design workshop at Danceworks led by Amy, who would later work on 'Wicked the Musical' that evening.
The students then enjoyed a stroll through Hyde Park, witnessing the grand ceremony for Their Majesties The Emperor and Empress of Japan, featuring over 1,250 soldiers, 250 Army musicians, and 240 military working horses.
After lunch, it was time for a Theatreland Walking Tour where the students explored the secrets of the stage and the stories of some of the capital’s most fascinating buildings.
The day was capped off with an unforgettable performance of 'Wicked the Musical' at the Apollo Victoria Theatre.
Day 4 | Wednesday 26th June
It was an early start for Jebel Ali as they set off at 7am for a trip to Warner Bros. Studio to the explore the magic of the Harry Potter films.
During the Harry Potter Studio Tour, the students explored the authentic sets, props, and costumes from the Harry Potter films... and had LOTS of Butterbeer!
The next stop was the V&A Museum, where the students experienced world-class art and design, discovering exhibits that spanned centuries and cultures.
In the evening, the group headed to Las Iguanas for a delicious dinner before winding down for some well-deserved rest!
Day 5 | Thursday 27th June
Day 5 began with a quick tube journey to Shakespeare's Globe, where the students were guided through the rich history of Elizabethan theatre from their knowledgeable tour guide, Michael.
After a quick visit to the Shakespeare's Globe Exhibition, the students headed to the Tate Modern to explore its captivating exhibits, followed by a scenic picnic by the River Thames.
A quick shopping visit around Leicester Square set the stage for the evening's highlight, a breathtaking performance of Les Misérables at the Sondheim Theatre.
The day wrapped up with a hearty buffet at Pizza Hut, fuelling the students up for their final day ahead.
Day 6 | Friday 28th June
On their final day in London, the Jebel Ali students visited the Royal Albert Hall, exploring its royal areas, the stunning auditorium, and the historic stage.
After a picnic by the Albert Memorial and a stroll through Hyde Park, it was time to head to the airport.
Hosting the Jebel Ali students on their Performing Arts Tour in London was a pleasure, and we hope everyone had an unforgettable trip!
