Day 1 | Sun 5th Jan
After a long day of travel yesterday, we have arrived in Courchevel and everyone is excited to hit the slopes for the first time!
We will share photos from throughout the tour here, with updates added below, so keep an eye out for some of the best bits as the week progresses!
Day 2 | Mon 6th Jan
Mr Cole and some of the girls are all smiles as they head up the mountain for some fresh snow on the first day of skiing!
After getting to grips with the conditions this morning, the Horizon students were all smiles at the top of one of Courchevel's many first class pistes before putting their skills into action.
After heading back to the chalet to warm up with some hot chocolates, it's time for dinner and an early night after a long couple of days for the students.
Day 3 | Tues 7th Jan
It’s a beautiful morning here in Courchevel. With fresh snowfall overnight it’s set to be an excellent day out on the slopes!
Day 4 | Wed 8th Jan
The Horizon students are ready to go for another day of double lessons.
They’ll be out in the slopes in their groups this morning as they continue to develop their skills.
After lunch they’ll be out on the mountain again for their afternoon session.
Mr Cole captured some of the Horizon students having a wonderful time on the slopes today!
After another action packed day on the slopes, the Horizon students have swapped their skis for ice skates here at Courchevel!
Day 5 | Thurs 9th Jan
The Horizon students are ready to go as the snow falls in Courchevel today on the penultimate day of skiing!
Tonight, the students will see who is HES’ top ten pin bowler as we go to Bowling 3000!
Day 5 | Thurs 8th Jan
The Horizon students are taking some well deserved time away from the slopes to find out who the best bowlers are in the group!
Day 6 | Fri 10th Jan
It’s the final day of skiing for Horizon English School here in Courchevel and the snow is coming down once again.
We’ve seen some excellent improvements over the course of the week, and the conditions today are an amazing way to end the week!
Without the teachers these trips are simply not possible, it’s been great to have Ms Namih, Mr Cole, Dr Morris and Mr Mason with the students this week.
