High Tunstall College of Science have arrived in Madrid ahead of five days of football action in the Spanish capital.

Day 2 | Fri 21st Feb
The students got their first full day in Spain off to a flying start as they went behind the scenes at Atletico Madrid's Riyadh Air Metropolitano home.
As the students were making their way around the stadium, the news broke of Atletico's Madrid derby tie as the draw was made for the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League!
After a short journey back to the hotel for lunch, the Tunny students are heading for Valdebebas, the training base of Real Madrid, for their first session of the tour.
High Tunstall have arrived at Real Madrid's training complex for their first of two sessions with the Spanish giants, ahead of a visit to watch their heroes in action at the Santiago Bernabeu on Sunday afternoon.
The Tunny squads are being put through their paces by Real Madrid coaches during this afternoon's coaching sessions.
The students are learning to play the Madrid way and everyone is working hard ahead of their matches over the weekend.
Following their first session of the tour, the High Tunstall students posed for a photo with their coach, and taught him a thing or two of their own about the school and their own football experiences.
And of course, the custom made tour flag was unfurled for the post-training pictures!
Day 3 | Sat 22nd Feb
Good morning from the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu!
The High Tunstall students have got the weekend off to a flying start with a visit to the newly redeveloped home of Spanish giants Real Madrid.
Let’s head inside for a look…
First up for the Tunny students is a chance to immerse themselves in the rich history of Real Madrid.
With a stadium revamp and plenty of trophies to their name, there’s lots to see inside the interactive museum.
After a look around the museum, the students head out into the seating bowl to get a glimpse of the hallowed Bernabéu turf.
With cutting edge technology which allows the entire pitch to be removed and stored below ground level throughout the week, the Tunny students have timed their visit well this morning!
Time for a group photo before heading down to visit the megastore.
We’ll be back tomorrow afternoon to see Real’s stars in La Liga action when they take on Girona!

This afternoon it was time for the Tunny students to explore the Spanish capital with a guided sightseeing tour of the city.
With the sun shining it was a beautiful day for a walk round one of Europe’s most iconic cities.
To round off a busy Saturday, it’s time to get back on the pitch and prepare for the first challenge match of the tour against a local Madrid side.
Day 4 | Sun 23rd Feb
What a start to the day with two matches against local opposition in Madrid this morning!
Some excellent performances and two matches played in great spirits - a big well done to everyone involved!
After yesterday’s behind the scenes stadium tour, the Tunny students and staff are back at the home of Real Madrid for this afternoon’s La Liga clash with Girona.
Real sit third in the league at kick off, and will be looking to follow up their midweek victory over Manchester City with three points today.
It was an afternoon to remember for High Tunstall's students and staff at the Santiago Bernabeu as Luka Modric produced one of the goals of the season for his Real Madrid side, in a 2-0 home win against Girona.
What a moment!
Day 5 | Mon 24th Feb
On the group's final day in Madrid, the Tunny students are back at Real Madrid's training complex for their second coaching session with Los Blancos, fresh from witnessing the first team's 2-0 win over Girona yesterday.
Despite it being their last day in Madrid, the High Tunstall students are working hard at Real Madrid this morning.
With five great days in Spain to reflect on when they go back to school, what a way to finish the trip!
