Day 1 | Sun 2nd Feb
After an early start, Fairgreen students finally have arrived in Madrid for their week long tour.
First stop was to visit the impressive Santiago Bernabéu. One of the world's most iconic football stadiums and the home of Real Madrid.
Freshly renovated, the home of giants Real Madrid is as impressive as ever.
Students had the opportunity to make some shopping at the Real Madrid megastore before heading back to the hotel for downtime.
Day 2 | Mon 3rd Feb
First stop was to explore Madrid city center and some of the most tourists places in the city. The group spent an amazing morning visiting places like the Royal Palace of Madrid, walked the beautiful Plaza Mayor and stopped at the popular Puerta del Sol.
The students also experienced one the most traditional breakfast in Spain, they had "chocolate con churros" and they absolutely loved.
In the afternoon, Fairgreen students got prepared for their first test of the trip, it was time to dance!
They visited the fantastic dance academy Expresarte, where the professional flamenco dancer, Beatriz welcomed the group.
The first part of the experience was to watch a live flamenco show from some of the most talented flamenco dancers in the town.
¡What an amazing show it was, pure talent and passion!
After the show the students got involved and they had the opportunity to participate on a flamenco masterclass where they tested their dancing skills.
Day 3 | Tue 4th Feb
¡Buenos días!
Today the students headed to Madrid city center to test their culinary skills in a local cooking class.
From making empanadillas and Spanish omelettes to preparing a traditional paella. The students learned some of the secrets of how to make the best Spanish dishes.
We have seen some amazing chefs today.
After the cooking class the group visited El Parque de El Retiro. Students were fascinated with the nature and beauty of the park.
To explore the park and get involved with the culture staff decided to prepare some activities and challenges to make the visit even more interesting.
What an amazing day it has been.

Day 4 | Wed 5th Feb
Today, students from Fairgreen International School, had an unforgettable day exploring the historic city of Segovia. Their adventure began at the iconic Roman Aqueduct, an incredible feat of ancient engineering that has stood for nearly 2,000 years. From there, they strolled through the charming old town to visit the Catedral de Segovia, a stunning Gothic masterpiece that left everyone in awe.
After a morning of sightseeing, the group enjoyed an authentic Spanish lunch at a local restaurant. In the afternoon they continued their journey to the magnificent Alcázar de Segovia, a fairy-tale castle that once inspired Walt Disney. Climbing the tower, they were treated to spectacular panoramic views of the city.
What an amazing day it has been today, with memories made and history brought to life.
Day 5 | Thu 6th Feb
What a beautiful morning in Madrid. Today the students had the opportunity to spend some time doing some shopping on Madrid’s iconic Gran Vía.
The students hit the stores, looking for souvenirs, trendy Spanish fashion and some gifts.
After the shopping, the group went to one of the most popular pizza restaurants in Madrid and had some Neapolitan authentic pizzas.
After lunch they visited the National Musem of Prado, one of the most iconic arts museums in the world.
The group got to see and explore the most famous artists of history and its paintings.
