After a good nights sleep, the students got to experience 2 of the most beautiful water falls in Bali. However, in order to witness such beauty, you have to get there! It was a short trek but some much needed movement after a long flight yesterday.
an amazing opportunity to appreciate Balinese culture, our students were asked to change into a Sarong to visit a local temple after lunch. The views and experience so far have been amazing!
Students embarked on a thrilling day trek to a 1,000-year-old village in Bali, navigating lush trails and steep terrain. They immersed themselves in local culture, learned traditional crafts, and embraced the challenge. A rewarding adventure that tested their endurance, broadened their perspectives, and left them with memories to last.
This morning, we enjoyed two snorkeling sessions at the Blue Lagoon, admiring clear waters, vibrant corals, and diverse marine life. In the evening, we visited a nearby sea salt farm, where students engaged in the daily harvesting process, gaining hands-on insight into this traditional craft.
An early start led to a challenging but rewarding climb up Mount Batur, an active volcano. The tough ascent was worth it for the breathtaking sunrise views. Reaching the summit brought a sense of achievement, making it an unforgettable experience and a story to proudly share.
Students visited a local school today and learned the ways of the locals. They learned crafts, played games and bonded with the students. A wholesome day filled with gratitude and learning was had by all.
