Day 1 | HELLO MADRID!

We’re thrilled to kick off the Twedex Football Tour with Dingwall Academy here in sunny Madrid!

After a smooth flight from Scotland, we’ve finally arrived at our hotel and settled into our rooms after a long day of travel. We just enjoyed our first dinner together in Spain and everyone's in a great mood!

The next five days promise to be a great mix of fun, football and unforgettable experiences. We’ll be updating you here on the blog twice a day, so stay tuned for all the highlights of our Spanish adventure!

Day 2 | COMPETITIVE MORNING!

We woke up to a cloudy Madrid ski this morning, but the mood is still high. It's all becoming real!

After a tasty and healthy breakfast, we went straight into our first group football tournament. There were brilliant goals, strong tackles and most importantly, lots of fun on and off the pitch.

Day 2 | BERNABEU TOUR

This afternoon we had the incredible opportunity to visit the iconic Santiago Bernabéu Stadium, home of Real Madrid! The newly renovated stadium is absolutely stunning.

After exploring the stadium, we made our way to the Real Madrid Megastore where we had the chance to pick up some souvenirs to remember this unforgettable experience.

Now it's time for an early dinner and to get ready for our evening activity!

Day 2 | WHAT A GAME!

Tonight, we wrapped up an already incredible day with something truly unforgettable, a live La Liga match at Atlético de Madrid’s stunning stadium! Atlético faced off against Real Sociedad in what we knew would be a high-quality game… but none of us expected what came next.

We witnessed history being made right in front of us! The fastest hat trick in La Liga history! Such an unforgettable memory.

It's been a day full of football, excitement and amazing moments. And this is just only getting started!

Day 3 | WE ARE BACK AT METROPOLITANO

After a restful night following yesterday's full day, we returned to the Riyadh Air Metropolitano Stadium. The stadium tour offered us a deep dive into the club's rich history and values through interactive activities. We also had the opportunity to explore the first-team locker rooms, walk through the players' tunnel, and even step onto the pitch.

The tour concluded with a visit to the official Atlético de Madrid store, where we picked up some memorable souvenirs. Now, we're off to continue our adventure at the theme park!

Day 3 | PARK WARNER

Today we swapped our football boots for roller coasters for a super fun afternoon at Parque Warner Madrid! From really fast rollercoasters to soaking wet water rides, it was non-stop fun and laughter from start to finish.

The weather was perfect for a theme park day, warm enough to dry us off quickly after the splash zones, especially with the help of those super speed coasters!

Day 4 | WHAT A GREAT WAY TO START THE DAY!

The morning got off to a great start as we made dreams come true. Dingwall Academy had the unique opportunity to train at the Ciudad Deportiva del Real Madrid, the official training ground of Real Madrid!

Led by professional Real Madrid coaches, the session was packed with energy, learning and development. The coaches were brilliant and made the session both challenging and fun, and by the end of the morning everyone walked off the pitch not only better players, but more connected as a team.

Day 5 | LAST DAY IN MADRID!

It's hard to believe, but today is our last day here in Madrid. After waking up, having breakfast and loading all our luggage onto the bus, we set off for one of the most exciting experiences of the tour, the real Madrid training ground.

During the session, the group had the chance to put into practice everything they'd learned during the week. The Real Madrid coaches introduced some new drills and techniques which the players quickly picked up and enjoyed trying out. To finish off the morning, we split into teams and played a mini tournament against each other. It was the perfect way to end our football experience here in Madrid.

After training, we headed straight to Oasiz Mall for a well-deserved lunch and some free time to explore and pick up some last minute souvenirs.

From there it was straight to the airport. The end of an unforgettable trip full of football, friendship and fantastic memories. Dingwall Academy's adventure in Madrid may have come to an end, but the stories and memories will stay with us for a long time to come.
