DIA Barsha can barely wait to get started. After hearing that there was a fresh dump of snow in the Alps this weekend, the excitement in the group is real - we can’t wait to arrive in France! We are all checked in and ready to fly.
We have arrived safely at the chalet! After some dinner and ski fitting, the students are now preparing for a day on the slopes tomorrow with an early bed!
All of the pupils are up and raring to go after a great night sleep. They have been treated to breakfast with a view - the snow capped mountains look absolutely unreal! We will be heading to start our lessons at 10:00 and will be out for most of the day!
Great start from the pupils - our beginner groups are working hard to make progress! After a quick lunch, we are working through our afternoon lessons.
Amazing evening activity for DIA - some more snow time and super fast sledding races!
Another amazing morning in Courchevel. The pupils are well rested and ready to ski for their second day of learning. You can’t ask for better weather in December!
You simply can’t get better weather than this in December in Courchevel - absolutely beautiful! Another great day of skiing and learning for the pupils - well done!
Well done to the teachers today as well - they managed a few challenging runs with the TWEDEX team in the afternoon!
The pupils are up and raring to go for their third day of skiing. Once again the weather has been kind to us - a lovely fresh morning with the sun shining brightly! Lots of progress still to be made before the final day tomorrow.
What an afternoon! Despite the temperatures dropping, the students have done really well to show resilience and keep learning new skills while skiing! Now for some dinner before the evening activity - ice skating!
Our evening activity tonight is ice skating at the amazing Courchevel ice hockey rink. The pupils are showing off their new skills - all with some classic disco songs in the background!
the students are up and moving slowly towards breakfast - but we are sure they will be more lively when they remember today is the final day of ski lessons! We have a big morning allowing the instructors to do their final assessments before our awards presentation later today.
The students were joined by their instructors in the chalet after the final day on the slopes. They got a chance to congratulate the students on their development over the week and also give them their French Ski School award (depending on the level they achieved).
We allocated some time to pack and then headed out to “Le Forum” after dinner to give the students a chance to get some souvenirs!
Today is our final day as we pack up and leave Courchevel! After an amazing week in the snow, it is all over.
We will be leaving on the bus to Geneva airport shortly, with our EK90 flight landing in Dubai at 23:55. We know the students are looking forward to seeing you!
