The boys started their day with a run through at Havelocks RFC training ground and got to grips with the temperature. A short stop at Sake restaurant allowed them to fuel up before game time this afternoon, where they faced the stern test of Prince of Wales College. Back to the hotel for a post-match mean and active recovery.
After a restful morning and a pre-match at Flower Dome restaurant, the squad took to the fields in Mount Lavinia, just outside central Colombo. St Thomas’ College were the hosts and our boys were wowed by their facilities, friendliness and never-ending competitive spirit. A close encounter with highly competitive rugby throughout.
Another day of actin at the 1500-seater Summa Navaratnam Stadium, home of Royal College rugby. The boys took to the field in their final challenge match against their toughest opponents yet. A great game, played in superb spirit to cap off a wonderful few days in Colombo. Next stop… Hikkaduwa

The boys took to the waves of Galle bay on Sunday for a shot at surfing. There were plenty of wipeouts for the onlookers to enjoy. Top marks to all for their effort and perseverance and gold medals go to Ethan and Mr Gerber for their near-dry performances on the board.
As we draw to a close, we have a very grateful group of boys returning home with a suitcase full of rich experiences in the beautiful Sri Lanka. From hard rugby, to beach volleyball, to fire dancers, to surfing to Tuktuks, the boys did it all. Thank you Sri Lanka, and see you again soon.
